The production of CKB involves making the kraft paper pulp into the base material and then evenly applying a coating containing kaolin and other components on one side. After drying, calendering and other treatments, a cardboard is finally formed with one side being strong and tough (for the kraft paper base material) and the other side being printable (for the coated side).
