Labelexpo Asia 2025 was grandly held from December 2-5 at Halls E1-E4 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This is one of the most influential events in the global label and packaging printing industry, held every two years, showcasing the latest achievements in the label printing sector. The exhibition covers the latest trends and innovations in label design, printing, and processing technologies, with a special focus on environmentally friendly digital labeling technologies.  

The theme of this exhibition is “Innovation Driven, Printing Empowered,” with an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, nearly 450 exhibitors, and a complete label supply chain. Products and services on display include various digital and traditional printing equipment, high-tech labels and packaging materials, prepress and plate-making technology, post-press processing and various decoration techniques, inspection, registration and labeling equipment, dies, cutters and rollers, inks and coatings, RFID smart labels and various anti-counterfeiting solutions, software, and various interactive technologies.

This edition of the exhibition focused on cutting-edge technology developments and launched two major educational activities. The “Journey of Smart Labels” will comprehensively showcase the innovative achievements across the entire RFID label industry chain, from materials, packaging, and inspection to industry applications, accompanied by a special forum focused on RFID technology and applications, including the “2025 (3rd) Anti-Counterfeiting and Traceability Technology Innovation & Development Forum” and the “From Intense Competition to Breaking Boundaries: Exploring Profit Growth and New Market Opportunities in the RFID Industry” forum. In addition, there were several presentations where different companies explained their main business, core strengths, and latest technological achievements to visitors.

Buildwise also participated in this exhibition, carefully observing and studying various labels and self-adhesive products. The exhibits at the show were diverse, including backing paper and face paper for adhesives, different types of glue, and label products printed on-site using machines, such as labels, thermal paper, and digital printing products. Additionally, there were some film products, including PE film, OPP film, and others. We engaged in friendly communication with suppliers, asked questions regarding self-adhesive and label paper products, and later exchanged business cards. After the exhibition, we conducted in-depth research on label paper products, gaining a deeper understanding of this type of product, which will greatly help in the development and promotion of similar products in the future.
